Microcatheters Feature Various Tensile Strengths

Among the capabilities of Teleflex Medical OEM, TFX OEM is the manufacture of microcatheters in PTFE-lined, multiple-durometer and variable-shaft-diameter configurations and with outside diameters as small as 0.66 mm and inner diameters down to 0.36 mm. Braided with round or flat wire of stainless steel, nitinol or platinum, these catheters are offered in a range of tensile strengths from annealed to full hard and a choice of four radiopaque fillers. The catheter jacket can be constructed from nylon 11 or 12, PEBA, polyurethane, polyethylene or a customer-specified material. Marker bands can be encapsulated in the shaft wall.
